Through Your Eyes (Hobsonville & Whenuapai)
Community Photo Competition
What do you love about our community? What makes our community unique? We want to see it through your lens! Whether it’s a favourite place, a friendly face, a beloved pet, or the beauty of nature — your photos help tell the story of where we live.
This competition is open to all photographers who live, work or play in Hobsonville and Whenuapai communities.
Prizes Up For Grabs: There will be an overall winner for both Hobsonville and Whenuapai who will win a $100 voucher. There will also be a prize for people’s choice for both Hobsonville and Whenuapai of a $50 voucher. These vouchers are all to a local restaurant/cafe of the winner’s choice (within Hobsonville/Whenuapai respectively).

Terms & Conditions:
- All photos must have been taken within the past 12 months
- There must be a clear connection to the Hobsonville or Whenuapai community
- Photos can be enhanced (e.g. lighting, colour) but not altered (e.g. items added or removed)
- Photos of people who are clearly identifiable need to have gained written consent.
- Participants may submit as many entries as they like, but only one photo per person per category can make it through to the final.
- Photos need to be submitted by email to [email protected] (maximum 10MB, format JPEG or PNG)
- Please include your age if under 18years, in order to enter our junior category.
- Selected photos will be shared on Connected Neighbourhoods Trust social media channels.
- A condition of entry gives Connected Neighbourhoods Trust permission to use submitted images for the purposes of promoting this event, other community initiatives and reporting.
- Categories are as follows: Places (local spots, buildings, street scenes), People (everyday heroes, neighbours, friends), Pets, Nature (birds, bugs, trees, sky water, or anything beautiful outdoors)
